Household helps can get the better of you sometimes with their lack of care for things that are valuable to you. But then, how will they know if the tapestry that you carefully folded so that you will hand wash it yourself is worth much, much more than the floor rugs she dumped it with when she did the laundry?
Shocked and angry that she did what I didn't ask her to, I tried so hard not to rave and nag! Being a good Christian is not easy, so much more to do to become Christlike.

Household helps should be treated kindly, they are not animals or robots that do manual labor without getting tired. Do unto others what you want others to do unto you.
Be gentle but firm to guide them to what you want them to do. They don't value the things that you do because they have no idea of it's worth. How can they appreciate a diamond in the mud if they don't know how a diamond looks like?
Be patient and kind with them, they have so many things in life that they are deprived of.
