Marriage is a sacred union, a blessing for new couples to start a new life together. Anniversaries should never become "anniversories" in a couple's journey together with their children. How blessed are those who have kept their marriage vows pure and honest! They are the lucky ones who look forward to another year of togetherness, of being in love with each other.
It is not easy to love another person with a personality and background so different from yours, that is why there is a courtship period, so that you will get to know the person you are intending to spend the rest of your life with very well.
Yes, there are personal flaws that will come out only when you live together but it is not an excuse to engage in pre-marital sex first. The personal libido of the person will always be the same but the character flaws are always covered up in courtship time to appear good and desirable.
Get to know your intended through different social situations. Be watchful and mindful of how they interact with your family, friends, relatives and neighbors. Expose yourselves in situations that will test your character, do not spend most of your time by yourselves alone, socialize and interact with others. Through that, you will get glimpses of character that will help you get to know each other well.
