Grace, mercy and peace to you.

May each day I’ll have time for Thee

Persevere in your prayers, meaning you don’t allow a day without spending  time with your  God. You don’t have to pray long novenas or litanies, a simple prayer that comes from your heart is enough.  A sincere prayer is most often answered readily than memorized prayers that  are automatically prayed. 

Too often  memorized prayers are said only through the lips while the mind wanders, they are just mechanical movement of the lips, like a parrot imitating the words of its master. Daily, offer Me your prayers, give time to our time, don’t forget it in the busyness of your day.

Being Lazy is Wasting Time

Laziness comes in many ways. It’s either you don’t do things that you are assigned to do by doing something else; you do it but in such a manner that it is much better that you didn’t do it because it was only a waste of time or you don’t do anything at all, waiting for the day to end doing nothing. 

To what category do you belong? Time is precious, make every moment count, because you don’t know if the next second is still yours.  

Follow the Lord's Dream

Dreams, all of you have dreams. Some, get what they want, but others don’t. Why? Lack of faith and lack of belief in themselves.  For you to achieve your dreams, see to it that they are aligned to what I want for you. 

It  is useless to go after dreams that will take you away from the path I have laid out for you, because you will be like chasing a rainbow’s end, where the pot of gold vanish even before you get to it.

Follow your dreams, follow My will and you will get your heart’s desire.

Humility in the Workplace

Humility is accepting what you lack in the eyes of others.

Working for others requires humility and sometimes having to be humiliated. Being humiliated is becoming humble, in the sense that what you think of yourself is torn down because of what your employers expect of you.  Don’t be too sure with what you know and what you have because there is still a lot to learn. 

Be humble in accepting that. Be open to constructive criticism, learn how to do better and excel in your work. Don’t carry a grudge in your heart against anyone who corrected you, because it will create tension in the work place. Be humble and learn even if you have to be humiliated in the process.  Move on and use the experience to spur you to become better.

Birthday Thanksgiving

Imperfect though I may be

On my birthday I give thanks to Thee

Rejoicing for the life you’ve given

Grateful  for  sins you have forgiven

Birthdays commemorate your birth and should be celebrated in thanksgiving to Me who made you whole and perfect.  But, even if you are not, it is also a cause for rejoicing because you were made for a purpose.  Don’t think that those who were born imperfect in this world don’t have a purpose in life. It may be not them, but others for them. Life is like this, either you are the one helping others or you are the one being helped.

In each role, there is interaction, a brotherhood, a link that will make you help each other. Therefore, if your role is the one to help, accept it graciously because you were born whole and perfect.  However, those who were born imperfect or abnormal should not be rejected or looked  down. The more that they should be loved, because through them, you will learn love,  humility and graciousness.

These special children are angels sent down to you, for all of you, so you will not become so proud and know there is someone greater than you that can make people as He wills it. Parents are just instruments, I am the one who makes the child grow and become whole or not.  Rejoice then at your birthdays, give thanks and help a special child who is not as fortunate as you in the eyes of humans.

Laws or Love?

My people in Israel in their pride that they were My chosen people have hardened their hearts because of the laws given to them, not realizing that some of these laws are causing grief to others. Being Christians, don’t mean you are to become literal follower of laws, it is  love that guides you to do what is right and gracious in My eyes.

What good will a law abiding citizen give to its neighbor  when their heart is not moved with compassion for those who have less than what they have? Who are being oppressed by the laws you so passionately believe in?

The laws and norms of society were instilled to sow order in a community that was once turbulent. Now, in times of peace, don’t be too rigid in the implementation of these ancient laws, especially those that set people apart.  You are all brothers and sisters, My children, let love and peace reign in your hearts.

Doing What You Promised

Delays can be a bother to those who are expecting you to do your assigned tasks. When you promise, see to it that you can do what you promised to do on time, so that the other party will not rely on you and keep waiting for nothing.

Say, “Yes” when you mean, “Yes” and “No”, when you mean, “No.”
